Martin Scorsese’s mothers’ recipe for sauce with meatballs & meat

In 1974, Scorsese published a very interesting talk he had with his parents, Americans from Italian descent. They tell hem about the old days, having 13 people living in three-room apartments, no electricity, washing by hand, lavatories in the garden, moving over from another continent, ethnic struggles.

A very, very different time, and even world.

Last but not least, we get Scorsese’s mothers’ recipe for sauce with meatballs and meat. Watch the documentary and try out Kathy’s recipe!

Lees daarom hieronder verder.

The goals of communism and the violent road thereto, written in The Communist Manifesto

Everyone who’s ever had a history lesson, is familiar with The Black Book of Communism, or knows how to access Wikipedia, knows that communism has caused milions of deaths, tens of millions of deaths even. Estimates range from 42 million up to 160 million deaths.

Marx and Engels made no secret of their ends, nor of their proposed methods to attain them.

In the beginning of the Manifesto, they state:

“It is high time that Communists should openly, in the face of the whole world, publish their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet this nursery tale of the Spectre of Communism with a Manifesto of the party itself.”

And so they did.

Below follows a list of excerpts of The Communist Manifesto containing explicit statements about the goals set by communism and calls to or propagation of the violent methods they assessed needed to be used.
